# Upgrade to a Paid Plan

> How to upgrade your BragBox plan and how passes work.

BragBox paid plans (**Starter** and **Pro**) are sold as fixed-term passes — monthly or yearly. A pass is a one-time payment, not an auto-renewing subscription, so you are never charged again automatically. When a pass expires, your account returns to the Free plan.

## Steps

1. Log in to your BragBox dashboard.
2. Go to **Settings → Billing**.
3. Choose **Starter** or **Pro**, and pick a **monthly** or **yearly** term.
4. Click the plan's button and complete checkout — you'll be redirected to a secure payment page.
5. Once payment is confirmed, your plan is applied immediately.

## What changes after upgrading

Upgrading to **Starter** gives you:

* Unlimited testimonials and active campaigns
* Unlimited widget views
* All widget layouts (marquee, carousel, wall)
* Ability to remove BragBox branding from your embed

Upgrading to **Pro** adds everything in Starter, plus:

* Video testimonial collection
* Advanced analytics in your dashboard
* Webhook integrations
* Priority support

## When your pass expires

Because passes don't auto-renew, access ends when the pass term is up. To keep paid features, buy a new pass from **Settings → Billing** before or after expiry.

After a pass expires, your account reverts to the Free plan (50 testimonials, 5 active campaigns, marquee layout, BragBox branding). A short grace window keeps paid access active for a few days past the expiry date so a slow payment confirmation never locks you out mid-term. Content over the Free limits — extra testimonials, campaigns, a custom layout, or hidden branding — stays stored on your account but stops displaying in the widget until you upgrade again.
